Within the framework of the International Conference "Tran Duc Thao - Some Philosophical and Historical Issues" organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-USSH on December 28, 2023, Prof. Ph.D. Tran Van Doan - Furen University, Taiwan (China), as the chair of the conference, had discussions and shared with scientists and students of VNU-USSH about many ongoing scientific issues.

Sharing the university's next development directions, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU said that VNU-USSH always perseveres in its pioneering orientation and plays a core role in training and research. Research the country's basic sciences to reach regional and international levels, in parallel with developing several new training disciplines and majors. Prof.Dr. Tran Van Doan is a Doctor of Science at the University of Paris (France, 1973), Doctor of Philosophy at Innsbruck University (Austria, 1975), Honorary Doctor of St Francis Xaver University (Canada, 2001), and has taught at University of Salzburg (Austria) and Professor of Philosophy at Taiwan University.
Author of over 15 monographs and more than 150 scientific research theses written in Vietnamese, Chinese, English, German, French and Italian, Professor Tran Van Doan is an academician around the world, a visiting professor at many prestigious universities such as Vienna University (Ao), Beijing (China), Oxford (UK), Louvain (Belgium), Frankfurt (Germany), Tokyo (Japan), Fu Nhan (Taiwan) Loan), Lisbon (Portugal), The Catholic University of America (USA)…
