The program "Thematic lectures and experiences of Korean culture for high school students" is within the framework of the Korean Studies in the Northern Vietnam: Sharing and Development Project funded by the Academy of Korean Studies (AKS).
The program attracted the participation of nearly 300 students, lecturers and experts with experience in Korean culture and language.
The lecturers of the Department of Korean studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities have brought students diverse knowledge about the country and people of Korea
The content of the thematic lecture has brought students diverse knowledge about the country and people of Korea with 03 topics: "Learning about Hanbok" (Dr. Nguyen Thuy Giang - University of Social Sciences and Humanities), "Understanding Korean Literature" (Dr. Ha Minh Thanh - University of Social Sciences and Humanities), "Learning about Korean history" (MSc. Tran Tung Ngoc - Phenikaa University).
Through vivid stories and images, students have been exposed to the characteristics of Korea, from culture, literature to history, and the relationship between Vietnam and Korea. Thematic lectures not only provide knowledge but also arouse your curiosity and interest in Korean culture.
In addition, the students also had the opportunity to exchange questions and discuss with experts and lecturers. The insightful and interesting questions from the students show their
interest and love for Korean culture, and open up opportunities for them to learn more deeply in the future.
Students participate in activities to experience Korean culture right at the high school
After the lecture, the students had the opportunity to participate in hands-on cultural experience activities. The students were able to try their hand at folding paper Hanbok, playing Tuho throwing... These activities not only bring fun but also help students better understand the cultural and artistic values of Korea. The program "Thematic lectures and experiences of Korean culture for high school students" has left a deep impression, contributing to increasing understanding and love for Korean culture in the high school community. This is also the goal of the Seeds of Korean Studies Project, contributing to giving students the motivation and passion to learn, as well as exploring diverse cultures around the world.
